Food Production Associate

Madres Churros is looking for a reliable, hands-on Food Production Associate to help prep and fry a delicious Mexican Pastry known as Churros in their Oʻahu commercial kitchen. If you know your way around food inventory, take pride in a clean and efficient station, and don't mind the heat of the fryer, we want to hear from you.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Compensation: $17/hr

  • Schedule:  Mon/Tue from 10:00AM - 4:00PM (Part-Time)

What you'll do

  • Prep and fry churros to spec, every batch

  • Scale recipes for daily production runs

  • Keep inventory organized, tracked, and stocked

  • Maintain fryer equipment, including regular oil changes

  • Follow food safety best practices every shift

What you bring

  • A current Hawaiʻi Food Handler Card

  • Experience in food prep or production (kitchen experience a plus)

  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stay on your feet in a commercial kitchen

  • A team-first attitude and attention to detail
